Country Pride and Small-Town Fair Traditions
Each September, the Kirkton Fall Fair brings the spirit of rural Ontario to the small community of Kirkton in Perth South. Taking place September 11–13, 2026, the fair proudly celebrates its theme “Country Pride, Counties Wide,” welcoming visitors to a weekend filled with agricultural traditions and family fun.
Visitors can explore a wide range of classic fair attractions including agricultural exhibits, livestock displays, homecraft competitions, and community activities that highlight the farming heritage of the region. The exhibit hall showcases everything from quilts and baking to vegetables and crafts, reflecting the creativity and skills of local residents.
The fairgrounds come alive with popular events such as the parade, pedal tractor pull, truck and tractor pull, demolition derby, and classic car show, along with family favourites like the petting zoo, pony rides, inflatables, and food trucks.
With more than a century of history behind it, the Kirkton Fall Fair continues to bring together neighbours, farmers, and visitors for a lively celebration of agriculture and community in rural Perth County.
